Hi, we’re Michael and Mikey. We’ve been together for 25 years, and along the way we’ve built a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. Lately, though, the political climate in the U.S. has made us worry about losing our civil rights because of our gender identity and sexual orientation. Rather than live with that fear, we’ve decided to take a leap and move somewhere that values and protects us. After lots of research and soul-searching, we found the perfect place: Uruguay. This is the story of our journey.
